Proverbs for Parents

 

Parents are call upon to discipline their Children.

 

A    Discipline is proper for every child.

B.   Discipline proves our love for our children.

C.   Discipline postponed will be ineffective.

D.   Discipline purges wrong conduct from a child’s life.

E.   Discipline Properly administered will not hurt your child.

F.   Discipline Proceeds in spite of crying.

G.  Discipline Provides help for the child, not relies of anger for the adult.

H.  Discipline prepares a child for the most important decision in life.

Prov. 29: 17

17Correct thy son, and he shall give thee rest; yea, he shall give delight unto thy soul.

 

Heb. 12:

6For whom the Lord loveth he chasteneth, and scourgeth every son whom he receiveth. 7If ye endure chastening, God dealeth with you as with sons; for what son is he whom the father chasteneth not?

24He that spareth his rod hateth his son: but he that loveth him chasteneth him betimes.

15Foolishness is bound in the heart of a child; but the rod of correction shall drive it far from him.
